Location, Location, Location....This gorgeous home is located in the desirable neighborhood of Hadley. You're minutes by golf cart to Lake Sumter Landing Market Square or Brownwood Paddock Park. The Town Squares are one of the most popular attractions of the community where you'll find shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, and free live entertainment nightly! When you are ready for a day in the sun or fun the Odell Recreation Center is a short walk or golf cart ride away. Here you'll find a family friendly swimming pool, billiards room, and much more.

You'll feel welcomed and at home from the moment you drive up to this beautiful home. As you open the front door to this spacious and beautifully decorated home with an open floor plan, you will be greeted by the spectacular golf course view and your refreshing private pool. The kitchen is complete with everything you'll need to prepare and serve meals (If you choose not to cook, there are so many great restaurants to try) and the dining area seats 6 comfortably. The living room offers plenty of comfortable seating with recliners, perfect if you're entertaining or watching your favorite shows on the flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, walk-in closet, and a private master bath with double vanity sinks & a Roma-style walk-in shower. The front guest room offers a comfortable queen size bed for your guests to enjoy while the 2nd guest room offers a comfortable king sized bed. The bedrooms and both bathrooms are set up with extra towels and linens. The guest bath is shared with the 2 guest rooms and there is a separate ½ bath available. This home offers a wonderful enclosed lanai with a 70" flat screen TV perfect for all season. The oversized screened birdcage and large deck along with a summer kitchen set up is where you will find your private pool & hot tub along with plenty of places to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunshine. The back is also a great place to end a busy day of activities with a cold beverage before heading out to the town square to dance the night away or while enjoying time with your new friends.

This home comes complete and includes Private Pool with Hot tub, BBQ grill & WiFi internet connection. With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the executive golf courses or pay resident rates at the Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, and more plus over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.

This home is made for fun! Just bring your suitcase and we'll provide the 'key' for enjoyment.

  Overall a good experience. Minor improvements could take it to the next level. Limited complaints: Beds were very hard. Plumbing was noisy... screaming with pressure whenever the master shower was in use (1/2 bath toilet overpressure valve should be replaced). Grill was dirty... Appeared to not have been cleaned between guests. Sliding door could not be secured properly.

  The home was beautiful. The interior was spotless. The amenities were good, with the exception of no TV in the master bedroom. The pool and spa were gorgeous, but very dirty. There was black mold growing down the waterfall and the entire pool was green with algae. The jets didn’t go on, so the water was completely stagnant. We stayed during a holiday week, so the pool wasn’t clean until our last day. It was very disappointing and impacted our stay. We were not compensated whatsoever for the pool not being useable until the last day of our visit.

    We appreciate your comments and immediately responded to the request to look at the pool and called the pool company who was there two days prior to guest arrival to do routine maintenance with a clear report of the pool. The Pool company manager himself went back to analyze the pool and informed us that due to a storm in the area that shut the pump off after technician cleaned and maintained the pool, Through no fault of our own there was damage and needed parts for the pump. He ordered and quickly replaced all parts damaged due to storm and reshocked the pool but notified guests to wait several hours before using the pool again. We were never asked for compensation during this stay and everyone jumped quickly to remedy the situation during the July 4th holiday weekend. JK

  This a comfortable, well equipped house conveniently located to all amenities. The pool and lanai area are spectacular and the glassed in sitting area was an added bonus. Regrettably, the pool is not heated. Even with the outside temps in the high 80's, it remained quite cool. On cloudy days it was basically unusable. That's a shame.

The pool is advertised as not heated and refreshing for our hot summer months here in Florida, but we do have the additional hot tub attached to the pool for your enjoyment during the cooler months. If it interests you, there is a heated community pool near our home for you to try as well. JK

  We had a great time at this rental. The location is perfect. Sunsets perfect. House well equipped with what you need. Only downside is the pool is not heated and having the option to pay for the heat during January and February would have made this the best rental ever.

  You could tell that this was a very expensive house. Everything was wonderful except for ice maker didn't work and hot tub wasn't working. Inside area close to pool had a terrible odor but if outside doors were opened it eventually eased up. House could have used more than one garbage can in kitchen. Also no hooks in bathroom to hang up things. Other than that house was fantastic . . pool was marvelous and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

  Gatsby Ln is a perfect vacation rental. A lovely home with many amenities and a convenient location. The staff at Down Home Properties value their clients and stand ready to accommodate your needs. The only NEGATIVE is the second King bedroom mattress is ENTIRELY TOO HARD. A good nights sleep on this bed isn’t fourth coming.
