This beautifully decorated 2 bedroom villa is located in the newest neighborhood of DeSoto, where you will find many opportunities to be at peace with the natural beauty this rustic neighborhood offers. You will enjoy wandering the walking trails that are surrounded by grand oak trees and you just might stumble upon a nature spring or view Mother Nature's wonders at the nature preserve where you will catch sight of some beautiful birds. If a day out on the town shopping and dining are in the plans, check out Brownwood Paddock Square, the Town Squares are one of the most popular attractions of this community. You'll find shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, and free live entertainment nightly! You're minutes to Lake Deaton Plaza Shopping Center where you'll find Publix for grocery needs, Walgreens Pharmacy, banking, and more. Just minutes to Fenney Recreation Center & Nature Trails where you'll find a resort-style family friendly swimming pool, meeting & gathering rooms, a fire pit, and the beautiful Fenney Grill & Orange Blossom Cafe. The Sugar Cane Recreation area you will find the adult pool and & air gun range, shuffle board courts, & walking trails with exercise equipment. And if you're looking for more activities...head over to the Dudley Canine & Recreation area where you will find an archery area and beautiful dog parks. Head up to the Spanish Moss Recreation Area where you will enjoy shuffleboard, corn toss, pickleball courts, nature trails, an outdoor fitness equipment, & sports pool.

You'll feel right at home from the moment you open the front door to your home away from home. The large open kitchen is complete with everything you'll need to prepare and serve meals or entertain. The Living room offers plenty of comfortable seating if your entertaining friends and family or just enjoying your favorite television shows on the 55" flat screen TV. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, flat screen TV, large walk in closet, and a private master bath with a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom is set up with a comfortable queen size bed for your guests to feel at home. The bedrooms and both bathrooms are set up with extra towels and linens. The extended screened lanai offers a a great space for just enjoying your morning coffee or just kicking back and relaxing with friends after a busy day of activities before headed out to the squares for an evening of entertainment.

This small dog friendly home is fully stocked and ready for you to come play including Gas Golf Cart and Gas BBQ grill, & WiFi internet connection!! With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the 38 executive golf courses with no greens fees. And these executive golf courses are not your typical 'pitch & putts'. They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis & pickle ball courts, basketball courts, sand volley ball and over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.

  It was very easy to find a good rental and work with Downhome Properties. The house was as expected and we didn't have any problems. I especially appreciated the little kits with dishwasher and laundry tablets, as well as the bathroom kits. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

  We loved everything about staying in this home! It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had enough equipment to easily make meals. The sofas was comfortable for watching movies in the TV. The home is convenient to a grocery store and a few rec centers. We loved sitting on the screened in porch enjoying fresh air and sunshine. Neighbors seemed friendly and the neighborhood was quiet. Downhome Properties was very responsive with any questions or concerns. If the owner had signed a contract for 2023 while we were staying there we would have signed for next year.
