The Town Squares are one of the most popular attractions of the community where you'll find shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, and free live entertainment nightly! When you are ready for a day of fun in the sun, Creekside Landing neighborhood pool is within walking distance. If you are looking for fun activities Canal Street Recreation Center is just minutes away by golf cart. For more organized activities, Lake Miona Regional Recreation Center is less than a mile away. Here you'll find a sports pool and many organized activity rooms. The famous Arnold Palmer Country Club is about a half of a mile and offers Championship golf, pro shop and a very popular country club restaurant.
This home is beautifully decorated with soft, airy colors, and open floor plan. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals or entertain new friends. The living room offers plenty of comfortable seating, electric fireplace, and a flat screen TV for your enjoyment. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, wall mounted flatscreen TV, large walk in closet, and a private master bath with Walk-in Shower and his & her sinks. Both of the guest bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds for your guests, large closets, and one guest room has a wall mounted TV. The guest bath has a shower/tub combo. The bedrooms and both bathrooms are set up with extra towels and linens. The lanai is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while reading the paper and planning your days activities or relaxing with friends before heading out to enjoy an evening of FREE live entertainment. And if you're looking for a quiet place to sit, soak up the sun and read the courtyard villa is perfect...you have privacy walls to give you the feeling of being in your own private world. You will also find in the large back yard a dining table that seats 6 and two lounge chairs if you want to invite your new friends over for happy hour.

This home comes complete and includes Private HOT TUB, Gas Golf Cart, BBQ grill, & WiFi internet connection. With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the executive golf courses or pay resident rates at the Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, and more plus over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.

This home is made for fun! Just bring your suitcase and we'll provide the 'key' for enjoyment.

  Not great. Lets start with the $1500.00 security deposit on a 4 night stay tyhat cost less than the security deposit. Then We had to go in the the square to retrieve the house passes then off to a rec center to retrieve the "guest"pass for our 3rd person. The person at the rec center was rude and not the least welcoming! I did ask Down Home if they could /would facilitate getting the passes and having them available to us at our rental I was told no that is not the way it is done in the villages Upon arrival the hot tub was cold and would not start. Had to call the after hours person who I must say came right out and got it going for us. Thank you-. They did however leave a torn piece of paper saying "hot tub fixed" odd. The rental it self was very clean. It had no little extras like sugar for coffee in a closet left by past guest or provided by owner (property management team) I felt the house was very sterile and obviously not looked after by a person who cared about it. It was not warm and welcoming. On Day 3 we tried to use the golf cart that was part of the rental. It did not start. When I called DownHome they said we could send out someone but we were leaving the next day so what was the point? We had a large bag of garbage on our last day which was not a garbage day couldn't find any directions on how to deal with that so we left it in the kitchen. Overall the house served it's purpose it was within walking distance of Sumter Landing which was important to us. also, I booked this many months in advance and had 3 payment installments. I would receive an email asking me to call Down Home to grant permission to charge my card . I called the first 2 payments and on the 3rd payment the women from Down Home said you know it will cost you $17 for me to do that for you??? I asked her to clarify and she explained that there was button on the email to press to grant permission and not be charge an additional fe But I would never rent from Down Home Properties again.

  The home was so convenient to the lake Sumter square and just a few homes away from the neighborhood community pool. Very clean home with a very nice golf cart. The maintenance man Tommy was there to help anytime I needed anything, my rental was for 6 months. I had zero problems. You can’t go wrong with this rental.

  This is a great place with an amazing location near Sumter Landing Square, nice golf cart, plenty of room, 3 bedrooms, amazing selection of pots and pans, great grill and love the bird cage with incredible Hot Tub. A few things the owners could work on.... new rug in living area, washing machine seems to cut the cycles short, one bag chair needs to be replaced, king bed in master bedroom seems to have lost its firmness and has indentations. We both had back issues sleeping on it.
