The guest bedroom has a queen size bed for your guests to feel at home. The guest bathroom has been fully remodeled to offer a beautiful walk in shower. All bedrooms and bathrooms come complete with towels and linens. Of course there is the charming screened in lanai which is set up with a table and seating for 4 making it the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee while planning your days activities or a glass of wine with friends before heading off to Lake Sumter Landing Market Square to enjoy an evening of FREE live entertainment. The well landscaped private back yard is like your own little oasis with 2 chaise lounge chairs for you to relax & enjoy the sounds of nature. This home is set up for entertaining so invite your new friends over! 

This home comes complete with a Gas Golf Cart & Wi-Fi internet.  With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the 29 executive golf courses with no greens fees. And these executive golf courses are not your typical 'pitch & putt' courses. They present some challenging par 3s and the occasional par 4, with three sets of tee boxes to accommodate golfers of different skill levels. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the 11 Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only (30 or older) swimming pools, organized activity swimming pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis courts, pickleball courts, basketball courts, sand volleyball and over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.

  Enjoyed our 3 month stay in this terrific location close to golf, shopping, and Lake Sumter. Would highly recommend annual air vent cleaning as the dust appeared immediately after cleaning, and the Tommy Bahama wall decor including the plastic plants need thorough cleaning. We do plan to return and hope this issue will be addressed along with our request to repair the inoperable front burner on the stove.

  We enjoyed the location and the home. The home was wonderful...the sectional in living room was the best! I always look for comfortable furniture and this one was great! Pans in kitchen pretty cheap and warped but we dealt with it, really only cooked breakfast. There really needs to be a dresser in bedroom, if you took out the chair in MB you could put in a small chest of drawers. Hard to find a place for clothes for a long term stay. It was clean and a great place to hang out. Great location...close to Lake Sumter Landing, 20 minute walk or 5 minute golf cart ride. Close to lots of golf courses too. Had a great time would highly recommend!

  Down Home Properties made lemonade out of lemons! Murphy worked overtime for the first couple of days of our month long stay in December. Between one of the principals and Tiffany (Cust service rep) not only took care of the issue (for example, bad/no cable, water heater fail) but excelled at making everything right.

  The furnishing were fine (except that the home felt cluttered with all the trees and bird decorations). There weren't enough pots and pans. What little there were weren't clean (caked on food), only a few knives (only one steak knife).
  Our first opinion was that the house was clean but after dropping something on the floor, there were enough dust bunnies under the bed to start a farm.
  We ate at some of the restaurants, went to the square and spent time with friends enjoying the Villages.
  I'm sorry I couldn't give a better review but I expected to have most of the conveniences of home.
  
  We couldn't park our car in the garage( not enough room for car and golf cart.
  Although there was enough closet space for hanging clothes, there were no dressers for underwear etc.

  The home WAS VERY NICE EVEN IF IT WAS IN AN AFRICAN MOTIF . TV'S IN BOTH BEDROOMS DID NOT HAVE CABLE. qUEST UNABLE TO USE. mAIN TV ONLY HAD BASIC CABLE WHICH WAS VERY ANNOYING. TOLD TO DROP OFF KEYS AND GARAGE DOOR OPENERS AT DOWN HOME, HAD AN EARLY FLIGHT , CAUSING US TO STAY AT WATERFRONT INN THE LAST NIGHT, COSTING $200. should HAVE A LOCK BOX AT HOUSE TO ALLEVIATE THIS SITUATION. WE WERE CLOSE TO SQUARE WHICH WAS NICE. KITCHEN EQUIPPED WITH JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING.

  The property was awesome. We liked the place so much we offered to buy it! No complaints. It was as described, very clean and well maintained and we would highly recommend staying here. The beds were comfortable, AC worked great, the kitchen had everything you needed, and it was a relaxing home and quiet neighborhood. We LOVED the golf cart. Easy access to both Spanish Springs and Sumter Landing. Only 3 min to Sumter which was great to enjoy the music in the evening. Would highly recommend the three tours: Spanish Springs, Sumter, and Brownwood. Gives you a good overview of the community. Go to one of the regional recreation centers and you can learn all the specifics about the activities offered. Hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.
