The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals or entertain new friends. Just entering the home, the large living room offers plenty of comfortable seating, a big dining room that can accommodate up to 8 people., and an extra separate TV room area with a 55" flat smart cable TV for your enjoyment, with more than 100 channels.
The master bedroom has a high-quality comfortable king size bed, 50" flat screen TV, large walk in closet, a private master bath, and it also connects directly to the lanai. The master bath offers a walk in shower, his & her sinks and a hair dryer. The first guest bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, a 32” flat screen smart TV. The second guest bedroom has two cozy twin size beds, perfect for your golf buddies or grandkids and includes a small desk area. The guest bathroom has a shower/tub combo. All bedrooms and bathrooms are complete with towels and linens.

This complete home comes with a 4 passenger gas golf cart, 2 bikes (with locks), BBQ grill, 2 lawn chairs, WiFi internet & cable TV. With the purchase of resident ID cards you can use any of the 29 executive golf courses with no greens fees. You pay resident rates on greens fees at the 11 Championship courses. You're also entitled to use any of the family friendly and adult only pools, organized activity pools, bocce ball, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, billiards tables, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, sand volleyball and over 1000 organized activities every week through the recreational centers.

This home is made for fun! Just bring your suitcase and we'll provide the 'key' for enjoyment.

  We enjoyed our stay and it was wonderful to be so close to the square so we could take the golf cart or walk to entertainment and restaurants.
  The security deposit of $1500 is ridiculous and Down Home keeps your money from the time you make the reservation until 2 weeks after you depart. I still haven't received my security deposit back and it's been over 2 weeks since we departed. I won't rent from Down Home again.

  The house was very well appointed, very clean, and very spacious. Yard was spacious and private.
  Highly recommended. Communication with management was very good. The golf cart and bicycles appeared to be well maintained. It's less than a ten minute walk to Lake Sumter Landing. When deciding on activities, keep in mind requesting golf tee times is four days out and not guaranteed. Also, some activities require safety classes before you can participate, and classes are not scheduled weekly.
  Overall this property location is great for discovering the Villages.

  We have stayed at another property of yours in Edgewater and was unsure how this one would stack up but it did. You wont beat the location to the square which I took a daily walk to each morning at 6:00 am for coffee and a newspaper. Can't wait to book it again.

  At the beginning of March, we were delighted with the house and with the entertainment opportunities available. But, as the lockdown of various options became more and more restricted, our enthusiasm waned. We understood the reasons (except the universal closing of neighborhood pools), but the vacation was definitely impaired by the restrictions. Saving grace of great weather and (for one of us) golf courses.

  We were delighted with every aspect of this house. It is in a perfect, quiet location but a few minutes' walk of Lake Sumter Landing. It was spotlessly clean with beautiful, simple but stylish decor and high quality furniture. There are so many things that we loved so I shall list them, in no particular order: huge, comfortable bed in master bedroom; quality bed linen and towels (and plenty of them) ;quality and quantity of crockery and cutlery; great, easy to control barbecue; good size and quality laundry and dishwashing facitlies; well maintained golf cart and as new bikes; big lanai; huge televisions in lounge and master bedroom; quality dining furniture and ample placemats; provision of some basics such as toilet rolls, tissues, hand wash, salt, pepper, etc. all contributed to my general satisfaction with this house.
  
  It really was a home from home experience where we felt very relaxed throughout our month long stay. The heating and air conditioning were very effective as was the fan in the master bedroom which worked well with NO noise! The garden is big enough and with the right orientation to get sun all day, even in November and December so it was lovely to have morning coffee in the sun then know that we could have an evening drink also in the sun, prior to lighting the BBQ. Perfect! The garden would benefit from having at least one more reclining chair, however, especially if there are more people in residence. We were just two so it wasn't a problem. There is nothing else I could improve and we are already looking into rental next year.

  This is a very nice home with a modern decor. It was well equipped but needed cleaning supplies and spare light bulbs. Several light bulbs were burned out but Down Home replaced those quickly. The carpets also need cleaning. All in all a nice stay.

  We found the home to be very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Although we had some issues at the start; front door lock had to be changed, door blind not working and golf cart lights broken Down Home properties responded very quickly to resolve these issues and were at all times polite and helpful. It was an easy walk or golf cart ride to Sumter Landing to enjoy the entertainment and facilities available there. We would like to return.
